Edward George "Ted" Turner

Edward George Turner, known affectionately to his family and friends as Ted, was a kind hearted, gregarious, right jolly English gent, loved by all who knew him. He was born on the 27th of June 1911 at Blake Cottage, Horn Street in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, where his father was employed as head groom to Mr Gosling of Blake House.

If this proves to be correct, then she was the child of John and Eleanor Kisby. And there's a very good chance this is correct, because in 1841, the Boongate census shows a widowed Eleanor Kisby living with her five year old granddaughter Jane Cole, next door to James and Sarah Cole, Jane's paternal grandparents. It's likely that Ann and Richard had died by this time and their daughter was in the care of Ann's mother.
