Edward George "Ted" Turner

Edward George Turner, known affectionately to his family and friends as Ted, was a kind hearted, gregarious, right jolly English gent, loved by all who knew him. He was born on the 27th of June 1911 at Blake Cottage, Horn Street in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, where his father was employed as head groom to Mr Gosling of Blake House.

      I give my sister Sarah Collcutt of St Aldates, spinster, £1400 in 3% Consols, the interest etc being paid to me by Messrs Fletcher and Parsons of Oxford, bankers, In Trust for her to receive the interest etc for life.
      After her decease I give the £1400 Stock and all due interest etc equally between the then living children of my sister Mary Basley, wife of Daniel Basley late of Oxford but now of London, broker.
      I give my sister Sarah Colcutt all my simple contract book debts and the money owing to me thereon, In Trust to collect all the money owing to me for the following uses:
      First to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses
      To invest the remainder in her name and take the interest etc for her own use for life
      After her decease I give all such Stock purchased by her, other money received from my book debts standing in her name, and all uncollected book debts, equally divided between the then living children of my sister Mary Basley.
      All the residue of my goods, chattels, stock of coal, wood, faggots, horses, carts, hay, corn and grain and all my other my personal estate and effects I give to Elizabeth Toovey of St Aldates, widow, and James Toovey her son equally divided, but subject to the payment of such debts as remain unpaid on those things.
      I appoint my sister Sarah Collcutt and Elizabeth Tovey Executrixes ... revoking all former wills
