- There was another Ann Wells, born to Daniel and Eleanor in March 1750/51, but she died a few days later. Mary Wells, born to Daniel and Eleanor in 1747 died as an infant. They also had a daughter Sarah, who married in 1768. The register showing William marrying Sarah Wells, has Sarah crossed out and Mary written in, however I believe this to be an error, as all the children baptized to William have Ann as the mother.

- Contrary to what many online genealogists assume to be true, this [Husband:First] did NOT marry <[wife:first]> Humphries on 23 May 1767 in Buford. That couple stayed in Burford, baptizing quite a few children in the 1770s while this couple was doing the same in Caversham.
