Edward George "Ted" Turner

Edward George Turner, known affectionately to his family and friends as Ted, was a kind hearted, gregarious, right jolly English gent, loved by all who knew him. He was born on the 27th of June 1911 at Blake Cottage, Horn Street in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, where his father was employed as head groom to Mr Gosling of Blake House.

    • There was another Ann Wells, born to Daniel and Eleanor in March 1750/51, but she died a few days later. Mary Wells, born to Daniel and Eleanor in 1747 died as an infant. They also had a daughter Sarah, who married in 1768. The register showing William marrying Sarah Wells, has Sarah crossed out and Mary written in, however I believe this to be an error, as all the children baptized to William have Ann as the mother.
