Edward George "Ted" Turner

Edward George Turner, known affectionately to his family and friends as Ted, was a kind hearted, gregarious, right jolly English gent, loved by all who knew him. He was born on the 27th of June 1911 at Blake Cottage, Horn Street in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, where his father was employed as head groom to Mr Gosling of Blake House.

      as follows:— I five and bequeath unto my Son ~~
      Richard the Sum of Fourscore Pounds:—I give
      unto my Daughter Elizabeth Fifty Pounds:—I give to
      my Daughter Sarah, the Wife of John parrott of East~
      Claydon, the Sum of Twenty Pounds:— I give unto my
      Daughter Ann, the Wife of William baker of North–~
      Marston aftoresaid, Forty Pounds:—I give to Susanna
      the Wife of William Curtis (my Daughter) of Denham,
      Forty Pounds:—I give unto my Servant and Grand–
      son John Chantrel, Twenty pounds, all which before=
      mentioned Legacies I desire my Executor hereafter
      named to pay to the aforesaid Legatees at the Expira=
      tion of Twelve Calendar Months after my Decease:—
      I give unto my GrandSon and Granddaughter~
      Joseph and Jane Brazell of Quainton, Twenty Pounds
      apiece, to be paid them at their respective Ages of
      twenty–one years in case they so long shall live;—
      But, if either of my said grandChildren Joseph or
      Jane Brazell should die before he or she shall ~
      attain such Age, then my Will is that the Survivor
      of them shall receive the Brother's or Sister's Part;
      and in Case they should both depart this Life before
      they attain that Age, then I ordain that the said ~
      Forty Pounds shall be equally divided between my
      then, own, Surviving daughters And lastly as to all
      all the Residue of my Goods and Chattels, Bills, Notes,
      Ready–Money, Security or Securities of Money or Stock of
      my son Richard's at North Marston aforesaid, and all my
      Personal Estate of every Description I give and bequeath
      unto my eldest Son John Denchfield of Burston House
      in the Parish of Aston–Abbotts aforesaid whom I ~
      constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my
      said last Will and Testament:—In Witness
      whereof (revoking all Wills by me of any Time
      heretofore made) I have hereto set my Hand and
