  I have seen this picture before. I think you posted it before. I think this is a blue dress that she made herself. By the way, her birthday was April 7, 1914 not May.

    Fixed the date…don’t know what I was thinking, it’s April in my database I think I may have posted this years ago in my knitting blog… do you think she was married at this point?

  I don’t think she was married yet. She was 22 when they married. She looks more like 17 or 18 here to me. I could be wrong. I’m sure Gramma Ebert must have helped her with the dress. My mother didn’t really sew much that I can remember. When I had a sewing question I always asked Frances Ebert.
